We stayed at La Ferme des Béluges for a couple of days during the Tour de France and it was the absolute highlight of our three weeks’ travelling, working and watching: a real hacienda in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

If you’re a cyclist it’s fantastic, with easy access to some of the best roads in the world and a swimming pool to cool off in. The hospitality from Karen and Spencer was wonderful, too. Can’t wait to go back.

The base of operations for our stay in Provence was the outrageously charming La Ferme des Bélugues. It is ideally located for Ventoux and we were looked after superbly during our stay.

Karen and Spencer were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their knowledge of the area was very useful, whether planning cycle routes, walks, visits to local markets or fab restaurants they had all the info!

The breakfast was lovely, the beds really comfortable, the views stunning and the fully equipped cycle garage was a dream for all keen cyclists!

This is just the most perfect Chambre d’hote. It’s a little oasis of peace and tranquillity in a busy area. It’s wonderfully-well equipped for cyclists of all species with secure storage, a workshop, endless reading material, guidance on routes. It’s also perfectly positioned for access to Malaucène or Bédoin and other less challenging and beautiful routes. But that’s only part of the story. It’s a beautifully and tastefully restored building with attractive grounds, a nice pool area.

There is a well equipped communal area which is equipped for self-catering and eating together, plus another communal sitting area, so you can stay in after a long day. There is wine and beer available to purchase via an honesty bar. There is fridge space to store your own items. It’s easy to get to the local villages to eat out but this will mean someone driving. We didn’t explore taxi options. Karen and Spencer are charming and enthusiastic hosts who could not have been more welcoming or helpful to us. Their attention to detail is remarkable and the result is a simply great place to stay. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of fresh locally sourced produce. How anyone could leave a terrible review of this superb B&B defeats me. We are already planning our next visit

Der Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen. Wir hatten ein tolles und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einer kleinen Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig, es war als Buffet aufgebaut und auf einer Terrasse konnten wir in der Morgensonne essen. Auch der Poolbereich war sehr schön angelegt und vor allem sehr sauber.

Die Gastgeber Karen und Spencer sind sehr freundlich. Sie geben einem gute Tipps und stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Sie sprechen Englisch (sie kommen aus England), was die Kommunikation deutlich vereinfacht hat.

La Ferme des Belugues is a very charming B&B with lovely decorated rooms in a quiet but central spot in Provence – which would be already enough for a fantastic review. There is however much more to it like first of all Karen & Spencer, the lovely hosts. They truly care for their guests and make you feel at home, provide you with all the tips for exploring the area, the most beautiful bike tours included of course.

Then there is Spencer’s workshop, at the disposal of the guests, which also stores the most important bike parts and tools as well as sports nutrition, just in case you need something. Not to forget the guest kitchen, where you can cook your pasta or any other meal after your bike ride.

Ho soggiornato alla Ferme Des Belugues per la seconda volta in due anni. Posto fantastico gestito divinamente da Karen e Spencer, sempre attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti; sanno come metterti a tuo agio e farti sentire come a casa. La posizione è perfetta per escursioni in bici e la Ferme è attrezzata con un ricovero/officina per le biciclette fornitissimo per qualsiasi necessità.

Completano la struttura una bella piscina è uno spazio comune dotato di cucina dove potersi intrattenere con gli altri ospiti. E che colazione! Ritornerò!

We waren aangenaam verrast door de aangeboden faciliteiten: keuken en zithoek maar bovenal de fietsgarage met mogelijkheid om je fiets veilig op te bergen maar ook voor een klein onderhoud is alles voor handen. Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor fietsers die houden van klimmetjes.

Heel gastvrije mensen. Ze letten enorm op details en er is hen niets te veel. Zowel de kamers als de tuin zijn perfect onderhouden. Uitstekend ontbijt.

Owners Spencer and Karen are the most generous hosts and gave us a very warm welcome. The breakfasts on the terrace were very high standard. Like everything in the property, Karen and Spencer pay a lot of attention to details to make their guests feel comfortable and at home.

Spencer’s cycling knowledge and Karen’s tourism suggestions were also very welcome. No hesitation in recommending Les Fermes to anyone, especially cyclists. Oh, and mustn’t forget the charming Fergus!

Très bonne accueil, les propriétaires exceptionnels, la chambre, la literie de qualité. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Je vous recommande ces chambres d’hôtes. Merci à Karen et Spencer. A bientôt.
